Ze first show kicked off with a hiss and a roar, quite literally in fact, you see Grant McCracken (Melbourne poet, spruik, musician, iconic character) happened to hear about my show and decided to come and check it out. He was more than happy to lend us a hand or a voice in this matter, with the opening and promotion of the exhibition, as you will see in the soon to be episode three. He was a gentleman and a big thanks goes out to him for his enthusiastic help on the night, hes a true legend, check out his group Sham Cabaret. Anyway the show went really well, that is, after we ironed out a few of the initial bumps, one being the truck not fitting down the alleyway where we had originally planned to have the exhibition. A few twenty point turns latter we ended up just parking smack bang in the middle of hosier lane and After a last minute mad rush to hang the show, everything else fell into place as it should.
